About My Work

Hi, I’m Allison. I teach yoga and Pilates classes specifically designed to benefit the working population. I’ll travel and teach classes on-site in the workplace and I tailor each class to the needs and ability of the participants.

allisongomesThrough yoga, Pilates and stretching, I empower employees to be productive, energized, and healthy. I strongly believe in educating people about their bodies as opposed to simply putting them through a workout. Often, the greatest benefit my students receive from the classes is the knowledge and awareness they take with them outside into the world.  When done regularly, these classes will help to reduce stress and work-related injuries, while helping to lower insurance rates and decrease absenteeism for employers.

Employees who sit at a desk for long hours, type on a computer for extended periods, or have a job where they do repetitive motions all day, could greatly benefit from my classes. I bring education, experience, and passion.

  • Training in Pre/Post Natal Pilates
  • 200hr RYT from Shambava Yoga
  • 15 years of dance and performance experience

Allison simultaneously earned her Bachelor of Fine Arts in dance from the University of California at Irvine and her certification in the Pilates Method from Diane Diefenderfer of Studio du Corps. She completed her 200 hr yoga certification at the Konalani Ashram in Hawaii in the summer of 2012. Since 2007, Allison has taught professional dancers, athletes, people seeking rehabilitation, and everyone in between.
